Mr. Rasheed joined Universal School in 2011. Mr. Rasheed has experience as a graphic design studio owner and a college professor in Publication design, logo identity design, museum exhibit design, photo editing, package design, illustration, animation and website design. He also has a terminal Masters of Fine Arts degree, in Visual Communication and is currently a Doctoral student at Northern Illinois University. Mr. Rasheed also designs and develops education for the consumers.

Mr. Farid joined Universal School in 2001.He attended Chicago State University. He has received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Philosophy and Religious Studies. He started at Universal as a part time physical education teacher.


Nisreen Ahmad                                                          email: nahmad@universalschool.org
Mrs. Ahmad joined Universal School in 2005 as a librarian/media specialist for three years. She moved to Palestine, where she taught English to grades 6-11, in a private school in Ramallah, for three years.  She also coordinated a quarterly newsletter for the school in Palestine, as well as the senior yearbook.  In 2011 Mrs. Ahmad came back to Universal as a computer teacher for grades KG-2nd, as well as the yearbook coordinator. Mrs. Ahmad earned a B.S. degree in Journalism from San Jose State University in California, and she is in the process of obtaining her Masters Degree in Linguistics with a focus in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) at UIC.
