Dear Parents and Families of Universal, Assalam Alaikum. Welcome to the start of the 2007-2008 school year. We pray that everyone is in great health and enjoying the countless blessings of Allah (SWT). As we prepare to begin another exciting year at Universal, we would like to thank our families for their continued support, and would like to welcome our new students and parents to the Universal School community. One important characteristic of an exceptional school is the belief that we can always do better. Over the past few weeks, the Administration has been working to identify and set goals for the new school year, with this belief in mind and at heart. Improving student achievement, as well as gaining a greater degree of spirituality, is a high priority. While we at Universal celebrate improvements in student test scores, we are looking for ways to make our instruction more meaningful, and to enhance the relationship with students and parents. We encourage you to work with our staff as we set and achieve the very best for each and every one of our students. Our staff and students are worthy of much recognition for their many wonderful accomplishments in the areas of academics, athletics, and citizenship, this past year.
