Mrs. Deanna Othman

Mrs. Deanna Othman has been with Universal since 2007. She is a graduate of Universal School, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and International Studies, and Master’s in Journalism, with a focus on Magazine Publishing, Editing, and Writing, both from Northwestern University. Ms. Othman is both a journalist and educator. She has had a religion column on the Huffington Post and also has been published in the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, Salon.com, and many other outlets. She also served as the assistant editor of Islamic Horizons magazine. Ms. Othman has served on the board of AMP-Chicago for 10 years, and has also served on the board of CIOCG.
