Mrs. Ruba Akel

Ms. Ruba Akel, an alumni of Universal School joins us full time this year. She  joined Universal staff in 2022 as a Middle School Social Studies teacher and Girl’s Dabka advisor. She holds a background in Leadership and Curriculum from Rasmussen University. Ms. Akel is a current member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has been accredited by them since 2021. Ms. Akel is heavily involved in the Mosque Foundation youth programs. She has taught at MFCC Saturday School for 5 years and now serves as Assistant Principal.
