Mrs. Amna Bouraoui
My name is Mrs. Amna Bouraoui. I joined Universal School in the fall of 2019 as a substitute teacher. I currently teach fourth grade. My journey as a teacher started more than twenty years ago in Canada. When I moved to the United States, I lived in several different states due to my husband’s job. I taught in several school districts which enriched my experience as an educator and exposed me to various educational practices, and curriculums across the United States. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Montclair State University, New Jersey. I am a certified teacher in the states of New Jersey, Nebraska, and Illinois. My most recent teaching position, prior to moving to Illinois, was a middle school teacher at Brighter Horizons Academy in Texas. I am currently working towards earning a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Trinity Christian College.
