Dearest Universal School Families,

Alhamdulillah as Muslims we know and believe with all hardships there comes releif. We were met with challenges during this pandemic, and Bithinillah,  our teachers, students, and parents met them head on. It is through challenge and hardship that we grow and learn. We have been reminded to cherish and appreciate our health, our families, and our school.Universal School’s success in meeting our vision of creating well-balanced and educated Muslims is achieved each year through the dedication and talent of our teachers and the commitment of our families.

I will be starting my 20th year with Universal School this fall in the role of Principal. As my mentors, my sisters, Mrs. Abdallah and Mrs. Sahloul did, I will serve my community with dedication and strive to provide our students with the best Islamic education. Alhamdulillah I was able to work side-by-side with such amazing and intelligent leaders for the past seven years in my role as assistant principal. They lead with grace and genuine care for our staff, students, and parents.

I look forward to returning to school with my Universal family this fall. I look forward to starting our day with the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and remembrance of Allah on our tongues and in our hearts and minds. May Allah (swt) reward you all for your intentions, bless you and keep you and your family safe and well. Please feel free to reach out to me at amurrar@universalschool.org
