Letter From The Counselor

LETTER FROM THE Academic COUNSELOR

Assalamu Alaikum,

Universal School’s main objective is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating Islamic learning environment that enables students to achieve their maximum educational potential and prepare them for their future roles in society as responsible and contributing citizens. As such the school board and administration put in place all available resources to help our students succeed.

As the academic counselor, I would like to welcome you to Universal School’s Academic Counseling page. The counselor works with students to help them in developing strategies for success in academics throughout high school, and in planning their post-secondary education plans and career options. From standardized tests to proper placement in academic courses as well as extra-curricular, Universal School continues to promote 100% graduation rate and admissions to college.

Our next academic adventure is to increase Universal School’s alumni attendance to four-year colleges, highly selective programs such as the GPPA at UIC and Dual Programs with Midwestern University, and last but not least to Ivy League institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and highly selective programs such as Rush and Northwestern premed programs.

With your help and support, Universal School will reach its goal of promoting academic excellence in the school and beyond.

Wassalam

Dalila Benameur
