Mrs. Huda Ghazal
Mrs.Huda Ghazal joined Universal School in Bridgeview, Illinois in 2016-17 and currently serves as the Dean of Students. While being a part of the administrative team supporting the school, Mrs. Ghazal also teaches personal finance and public speaking for high school students. Previously Mrs. Ghazal served as a principal, administrative assistant, and computer science/public speaking teacher in a private faith-based school for over ten years. She has served on strategic planning, by-laws, school board committees, and most recently been involved in the Islamic college formation from the local area to support the advancement of Islamic educational institutions. Before entering the education field, Huda worked for General Motors as a system engineer in Michigan and Ohio for five years after graduating from their system engineering certification program. Huda has earned two undergraduate degrees in finance and management at Walsh College in North Canton, Ohio, and later earned a graduate-level certification in teacher leadership at Walden University when she pursued an administrative role in education. Mrs. Ghazal also works as a report reviewer at Cognia for the past three years and has served on several on-site and remote accreditation teams. Mrs. Ghazal is married and has 4 children and one grandson. She enjoys gardening and getting to know her students better.
