Minar Shehadah
Mrs. Minar Shehadah joined Universal School in the fall of 2022. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She attended Saint Xavier University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Mental Health. She completed a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Trinity Christian College.
Mrs. Minar Shehadah served as a counselor at Arab American Family Services (AAFS), a local nonprofit organization and worked closely with court-mandated clients involved with DCFS. She conducted mental health counseling (Solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy). She is a certified domestic violence advocate and counseled victims of domestic violence as well. She currently serves as a member of the advisory council for counseling programs at Trinity Christian College.
